A Levels

From September 2025, we will be offering an exciting range of A Level subjects.

All Sixth Form students will have the opportunity to take 3 or 4 A Levels, together with an independent research project.

All students will take our Aristotle Programme, which covers PSHCE, Physical Education and Community Outreach, and leads to the A Level in Global Perspectives, an internationally recognised qualification offered by Cambridge International.

There are 5 x 55min classes for each subject per week. Usually, there are 6 students in each class, but never more than 9.

Everyone receives individual support from both their Personal Tutor and Coach in weekly 25 minute 1-2-1 sessions to help them work out what steps they need to take as they progress through their A Levels.

Please note that the above is only an example of what subjects are on offer.

If your child is interested in taking a subject we do not usually offer at KCO, we will do everything in our power to ensure that this is possible and to nurture the interests of our students, however it may come at an extra cost.

We know that a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not work in schools, so our teaching always prioritises what the next steps are for each individual student, however well they are doing.

We do everything we can to open students’ eyes to the numerous possibilities of their futures, including offering expert guidance on University Entrance and Careers.
