iA Level Geography
The Edexcel iA Level in Geography aims to enable students to develop their knowledge of locations, places, processes and environments, as well as that of geographical patterns, processes and issues in both physical and human geography at a range of temporal and spatial scales. The course also aims for students to improve their understanding of the ways in which values, attitudes and circumstances impact the relationships between people, place, and environment. By the end of the course, students will be able to undertake and understand the value of fieldwork, as well as have a mature understanding of models, theories and generalisations, and of the nature and limitations of objectivity and the significance of human values and attitudes.
